Welcome to Robin Class
Welcome to Robin Class. Mrs Birch, Miss Walmsley and Miss Noon are the adults who work in our class. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for our Recepytion children and the National Curriculum for our Year One children. We will spend lots of time exploring and learning in our indoor and outdoor environments. Over the year we enjoy learning through different topics.
Learning Dinosaurs
We have three dinosaur friends in class, their names are Tryatops, Thinkodocus and Explorosaurus. These link to the Characteristics of Effective Learning which help us to focus on and understand how the children learn. We hope that they will encourage your children to become effective and motivated learners.
WOW Wall!
We love to hear all about your child's achievements outside of school and celebrate these in school. We encourage our parents to record these achievements on WOW vouchers and send them in to school to share with everyone and display on our WOW wall in class!

Home reading
Please continue to support your child at home by sharing the games and reading books we send home. Reading books need to be returned on a Thursday they will be changed and sent home on a Monday.
Please remember to send some time working on Numbots. If you need a copy of your login please get in touch.
Home Learning Logs
Every Friday your child will bring home their own home learning log. Please can we ask that you take the time to have a go at completing some of the suggested activities in the log with your child. The suggested activities help re-enforce your child's learning at home.
Please can your child return their log every Thursday morning to school to enable us to celebrate the work you have completed together at home and prepare the new activities for the next day.

Look what we've been up to in Robin
Oh no the Reception Robin children found a cracked egg. They have been investigating what happened.
Robin Class had a lovely autumn walk around the school grounds. We found lots of signs of autumn.
